Over the past decades, AmStaff lovers and experts have written loads of books regarding our breed. Literature that absolutely should be present in your library is ‘The American Staffordshire Terrier in the Netherlands Part II’

This reference book is written by author Wil de Veer and is now exclusively for sale through Old Hickory Kennel. This book is a sequel to the first part but is more substantial and even more extensive! All that is written in the first part, you can find in this book as well.

No less than 704 bound pages and this with a hard cover. It explains about the history of the breed in the Netherlands, stating all the official kennels and their litters and their most important dogs.

Amongst other things, you will find the pedigrees of all the import dogs. This alone are more than one hundred and fifty pedigrees. Using this book, it should be possible to trace back the descendants of all AmStaffs registered in the Netherlands and will even go back as far as about 1850. The first book was already a sensation because of its size, content and the many stunning photographs. The new book is richly Illustrated again, and this with truly beautiful colour and black and white photographs. You can also read about the people behind the AmStaff. Unlike in Part I, this issue also focuses on the larger and leading European and American kennels, this with their owners and their most important dogs. It also describes the history of the breed in more than fifteen European countries and you will discover with which dogs it all started.

We are therefore very proud to be able to publish and offer you this book. The book has a clear layout and is easy to read.

It is released in the same format as the first book and again published as a luxurious, very high-quality version. At the moment, this book can only be ordered via the kennel ‘Old Hickory’.
